Patrick Ayres is a chef located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. After leaving Canlis Restaurant in Seattle, where he served as Executive Sous Chef for four years, Chef Ayres opened Cloverdale Farm in 2014 with the restaurant following in July of 2017. Cloverdale Restaurant (now home to Yampa Valley Kitchen) served New American cuisine delivered in a tasting menu format meant to express the seasons specific to Colorado. With as many ingredients as possible sourced from their own farm, Cloverdale had unique access to freshness and micro-seasons that made for a constantly evolving menu.


Chef Ayres carries a deep respect for food and continues to hold a high standard in the kitchen.

Along with his wife Kaylee and their two daughters, Ayres loves the Yampa Valley and is excited to bring his food to your home, making personal and memorable experiences for your group.
